Step 1: Preparation:
- Incense Burner: Use a brass resin burner with a handle (recommended).
Step 2: Lighting the Charcoal:
- Select Charcoal: Use a self-igniting charcoal disc designed for incense.
- Ignite: Use tongs to light the edge of the charcoal disc with a match or lighter. It will start to spark and crackle. Then place it inside the brass resin burner.
- Wait: Allow the charcoal to become fully lit and covered with a layer of ash (about 2-5 minutes).
Step 3: Adding Resin:
- Place Resin: Once the charcoal is ready, place a small amount of your copal resin incense on top. The heat will cause the resin to melt and release its aromatic smoke.
